Day's Events - Special Note - Getting Here - Past Years
You are invited…
Rising Sun Martial Arts will be holding our Fall Seminar and Cookout again this year, and we’d like to invite you to come and celebrate with us. The morning will involve three 45-minute training sessions. This will be an opportunity to exchange techniques and perspectives with students and instructors from other dojo.
After the training, there will be a cookout. Hamburgers, hot dogs, and sodas will be provided - we’re asking people to help with the rest (salads, desserts, etc.).
Students of all ranks and ages are invited. We are asking for a donation of $5 per adult / $3 per child participant, and that each dojo provide an instructor who is willing to come and share in this exchange of ideas and techniques. Come and have fun!
Please note that this year's Fall Seminar is by pre-registration only! There will be no registration at the door. This is to help us to better prepare and organize this event. Thank you.

The morning will begin with an opening ceremony, followed by warm-up exercises and stretching. The students will then be divided into groups, based their choice of topic.
As in past years, we are hoping to offer various training options for each of the three Sessions. Topics will be posted on the day of the event. Some events may have restrictions based on age and/or rank.
Between Sessions, there will be time for breaks. There is a water fountain available, or feel free to bring your own non-alcoholic beverage.
After Session III, we will have the closing ceremony and break for the cookout. Students and instructors are welcome to use floor space to practice or share techniques for the remainder of the day.
